The Legacy Fund

Catholic Faith In Action

The Catholic Community Foundation (CCF) strives to serve those in need. But often, we’re challenged by needs we cannot foresee. The Legacy Fund is an unrestricted fund that allows CCF to respond strategically and with flexibility to the most important needs in our Catholic community — especially those that are urgent or just emerging.

A donation to the Legacy Fund helps ensure CCF will remain strong and stable through changing times and environments.

Larry McGough

“The Legacy Fund embodies the best practices of charitable giving. It’s a strong philanthropic force that will benefit Catholics for generations to come.”

— Larry McGough, Founding Co-Chair, The Legacy Fund

The Legacy Society

Celebrating Your Contributions

Donors who have named the Legacy Fund or an endowment managed by CCF as a beneficiary of their will, trust, annuity, life insurance policy, and/or retirement assets are all invited to join the Legacy Society. So, too, are those donors who have established an endowment during their lifetime. The Legacy Society celebrates all who have entrusted their charitable legacies to the faithful stewardship of CCF.

Members of The Legacy Society, are recognized with:

  • An invitation to our annual Legacy Society gathering, which includes a special Mass and luncheon
  • Inclusion in the Foundation’s Annual Report with the donor’s permission
  • Prayer intentions at the annual Legacy Society Mass during and after their lifetime, in perpetuity
